This beautiful accommodation was built in a former cow barn and has been transformed into a modern, rural guesthouse on Texel. If you look closely, you’ll still spot authentic details. The house combines warm, cosy furnishings with Texel touches and a subtle farmhouse twist. The bright living room features a comfortable seating area and a television with Chromecast (Google TV) – perfect for relaxing evenings after a day out on the island.

This Texel Farm Lodge is equipped down to the last detail, so all you have to do is relax. Set your worries aside, lean back and enjoy the island’s pace – we’ll take care of a carefree and comfortable stay on Texel.
The spacious house has three separate toilets and two bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups. The open-plan kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, filter coffee machine and combi oven. Free fibre-optic Wi-Fi is available and bed linen is provided. Want extra convenience? Simply rent bicycles or use our bread delivery service – everything for a carefree and luxurious stay on the island.
Take a seat at the family table
A lovely spot in the house is the spacious dining area, designed to bring people together. The dining space offers plenty of seating for everyone. The three-meter-long table table in Farm Lodge De Slufter is generously sized and perfect for shared meals, playing games, or catching up about the day. Because let’s be honest: making and sharing memories together – that’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?
Embrace the peace and nature on the terrace
When the weather is fine, you can step outside through the garden door onto the inviting terrace. Here you’ll find a large 10-person outdoor table, and during the warmer months there’s also a BBQ available. This charming terrace is perfect for gathering with friends or family to enjoy the (evening) sun and the garden. In the fresh Texel sea air, you can savour a refreshing snack or drink. It’s even more special thanks to the butterflies and many birds that return to our farm year after year.
Child-friendly holiday spot
Near the house you will find a communal green garden with playground. Children can enjoy themselves to their heart’s content on various playground equipment. There are swings, tennis table, a slide, sandbox and go-karts that they can use freely. In short, a child-friendly holiday accommodation.

Cancellation Policy
The cancellation fees for the Farm Lodge are as follows. In case of cancellation:
- More than 6 months before arrival – 30% of the rental amount
- Less than 6 months before arrival – 50% of the rental amount
- Less than 2 months before arrival – 75% of the rental amount
- One month or less before arrival – 90% of the rental amount
- All calculated from the booking date and arrival time of 3:00 pm.
- More than 6 days before the start date – 30% of the agreed rental amount
- 4, 5 or 6 days before the start date – 60% of the agreed rental amount
- 1, 2 or 3 days before the start date – 85% of the agreed rental amount
- Less than 1 day (< 24 hours) – 100% of the agreed rental amount
- All calculated from the booking date and arrival time of 3:00 pm.
