Our Farm Lodges are equipped with all the facilities you would expect for a carefree stay on Texel. The spacious kitchen includes, among other things, a dishwasher, oven, microwave and coffee machine. There is also a shared washing machine available, which offers extra convenience, especially when staying with children or for a longer weekend.

De Cocksdorp was formed after the reclamation of the salt marsh between the ‘old’ Texel and the former island of Eijerland. Today, you’ll find a pleasant mix of shops and restaurants here, and in July and August the lively Durpermarkt takes place every Thursday. For those staying in our peacefully located 6-person holiday home, this village is a perfect spot for a short outing.

Close to the village and our farm, you’ll also find Texel Airport. Especially in summer, it offers a lively spectacle of (sport) aircraft and parachutists. A great tip during your stay on Texel with children. On the same site, you’ll also find the Aviation and War Museum, where you can explore the surprisingly rich history of Texel’s aviation and the impact of the Second World War on the island.

Our holiday villas are located on our cosy former farmstead, tucked away in the beautiful Texel polder landscape. You won’t find crowds or entertainment at a busy holiday park here. At our farm, it’s all about being together and creating meaningful memories with your travel companions. All destinations on the island are within 20 minutes’ reach. Nearby you’ll find, for example, Golf Course De Texelse, which also hosts restaurant ’t Haanenhuus. Or visit the Slufter nature reserve.
