Family house located near De Cocksdorp
The charming village of De Cocksdorp is located on the northern side of the island. You’ll find cosy shops and restaurants here. De Cocksdorp is surrounded by nature and borders the Wadden dike. It is also home to the Bird Information Centre, as many bird species live in the area around our farm and De Cocksdorp. Nearby, you can admire or climb the Texel lighthouse. The wide sandy beach is perfect for beach activities or a refreshing walk along the shore, where the beauty of the North Sea truly comes to life as you enjoy the fresh sea breeze.
A beautiful area to explore
Hoeve Vianen is located in a rural area in the north of Texel, close to the charming villages of De Cocksdorp and Oosterend. Our farm is an excellent base for exploring activities on Texel. All destinations on the island can be reached within 20 minutes from our family homes. Nearby you’ll find, for example, the swimming pool at De Krim, the Slufter nature reserve and restaurant, and beach pavilion Kaap Noord.
