At Hoeve Vianen you can enjoy an oasis of peace and space. We are rurally located in the Eierland polder, the northern part of Texel. You are really away from the hectic pace. By bike or car you can still easily visit the bustle and fun that the island also has to offer. On our former farm, farm life is still central. For example, four of our accommodations are built in an old stable. You will find details of this in our attractively finished Farm Lodges.
Texel is not only the largest Dutch Wadden Island, but also the nicest! Enjoy the versatility and get out and about! Meet real beachcombers. Visit the imposing dunes and the Texel pine forest. They offer plenty of opportunities all year round, for example for cycling, walking or riding Solex. The beach is close by and the picturesque villages of Oosterend, De Koog and De Cocksdorp are quickly accessible by car or bicycle. Enjoying sports during the holidays? Texel is the ultimate sports destination. Mountain biking, running, kite surfing, wave surfing, windsurfing, golfing and parachuting, it’s all possible here.
Even in bad weather there are plenty of opportunities to go out. Of course with holiday farm Hoeve Vianen as the starting and ending point!
No busy tourism at an overcrowded holiday park, but small-scale, personal and with a high level of service. Our Farm Lodges distinguish themselves because they are each unique in their location and their warm interior. You will quickly feel at home on our farm.
On the former farm there is a large playground, orchard and BBQs are available in the warmer months. You can rent bicycles online and have them delivered and via our sandwich and food delivery service, you have different options every day.
There are two nature reserves in the polder. Hogezandskil nature reserve, this is an old creek arm directly opposite our farm and De Roggesloot nature reserve. This is located near the village of De Cocksdorp, about 6 kilometers from Hoeve Vianen.
There is also nature reserve De Slufter. In this area, about 3.5 kilometers from Hoeve Vianen, the sea can flow in unimpeded. There are several hiking trails through the area. De Slufter is highly recommended and that all year round!
