Frequently Asked Questions

What time is it possible to check in and out?

Check-in is possible on our changeover days Monday and Friday from 3 p.m. (15.00). Check in after 4 pm? No problem! Please tick this option when booking, it will help us in our planning. You can check out on Monday or Friday between 9 and 10 a.m. (09:00 and 10:00). Are you leaving a day early? Then later check-out is no problem. We would be happy to discuss when the check-out moment will take place upon arrival. We don’t have a reception, so you can check in and out at the house at the front of the farm. We are always around the door on Mondays and Fridays, but in the unlikely event that you do not meet anyone at the house, give us a call on  +31 222 740 000, and we will be there immediately to give you a warm welcome.

Where can I park and/or charge an electric car?

You can park your car free of charge in our on-site car park. Paid parking applies in many parking lots and beaches on the island. Take a look over here for more information. We currently do not have a charging station for electric cars. However, charging can be done in many places on the island. Take a look over here where electric cars can be charged.

How is the rent built up?

We like to be transparent about the costs. The total price is made up of the following elements:

Rental price of the accommodation (incl. VAT). To this comes:
Tourist tax € 2.40 p.p.p.n.
Free bed & bath linen set
Deposit per booked accommodation. Payable upon arrival by debit or credit card. It will be refunded a few working days after departure, provided the house rules have been followed.
Optional: 1 pet
Optional: charging costs for electric cars

Did you not book via our own website? Then it may be that there are still outstanding costs on arrival. You can check this with the party where you have booked. You can also use a central washing machine.

We do not charge reservation costs. The exact price for your selected dates and accommodation can be found by clicking here. Afterwards, you can also directly confirm the booking online.

Is there a BBQ available?

We have several BBQs that you can use at your accommodation. Charcoal and tools are not included as standard. The BBQs must be left clean after use.

How about smoking?

Smoking is absolutely not allowed in all our accommodations.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, a maximum of one pet is allowed in all accommodations. When you make a booking, check if you can bring a pet and tick the checkbox as addon. There are additional charges for pets.

Do I need to bring anything myself?

Bedlinen are provided, there are two shower towels per guest per stay and a kitchen cleaning package is available. Kitchen linen, shower sets, extra toilet paper, dishwasher cubes, pepper, salt and coffee filters are not included as standard and you must bring your own. Extra towels can be booked at an additional cost.

What kind of coffee machine is available?

A filter coffee machine is available in all accommodations. The standard 1×4 filters can be fitted here.

Is a cot and/or high chair available?

We have a number of high chairs and cots in stock. They are not standard in the accommodations, but you can book them free of charge (tick as an option or email us). If you need more than two high chairs and/or beds, please let us know. This is possible based on availability.

Are bed linen provided?

Yes bed linen is included. In addition, there is 1 shower towel set per guest.

Are towels provided?

There is a set of a large and small shower towel per person per stay. An extra set can be booked at the time of booking. Kitchen towels are not included.

Is there a washing machine available?

Yes, there is a central washing machine that you can use free of charge and there is a drying rack in your accommodation. The washing machine is centrally located. You will find it if you pass the signpost from the parking lot and follow the path to the back on your left. A black door with a ‘Wasmachine’ sign on it. In addition, there is also a central freezer in this room that you can use as well.

I have a discount code, how does this work?

In our booking module you can add your discount code. If the code is valid you will see the discount in the booking overview as a discount amount or percentage on the total price. Discount codes are only valid on our own website.

Do you have cancellation insurance?

We recommend that all our guests purchase travel insurance. If you are unexpectedly unable to come, you can in certain cases fall back on this insurance to cover costs incurred. We do not provide this ourselves, but this can certainly be arranged externally. Take a look over here for more information about travel insurance that we recommend.

We also offer a risk fund. In certain situations, participation in the risk fund indemnifies you against cancellation costs due to force majeure and indemnifies you against costs in accordance with our cancellation conditions. On what days can I arrive and depart?

Arrive on Monday or Friday. You can depart on Monday, Friday or Sunday.

Is there a floor plan available?

On the detail page of each Farm Lodge, you will find the corresponding floor plan of the house. A floor plan of the entire property can be found here.
